The one-click kit for R150 carries every binary plus the proven flash-full-fast.ps1 chunked flasher — it installs esptool automatically and retries flaky USB links. Unzip on a Windows PC, open PowerShell in the folder, and run one of these:

Already running M5SHARK? -Quick updates the app image only (firmware.bin @ 0x10000) — much faster. Change COM6 to your port; if it keeps cutting out mid-write add -Baud 460800.

Stuck on Connecting…? Hold BOOT, tap RESET, release after 2 s. Done → press RESET once. Mac / Linux: pip install esptool, then copy the ready-made write_flash command from the CLI page (chip esp32c5, same four offsets).

“Serial data stream stopped” / cuts out part-way through the write? That is USB-link noise, not the images — it hits the dense, high-entropy part of the image on a marginal cable. The single biggest fix: a short, known-good USB data cable straight into a rear port — no hubs, extensions or front-panel headers. The browser installer now writes in small 16 KB chunks, flushes and re-syncs on a bad chunk, and saves a resume point so Continue picks up where it stopped; the offline script auto-retries and steps the baud down (921600 → 460800 → 115200) each try.
